You should definitely go here! I got the ham and cheese croissant and the chocolate croissant. Both were amazing. I also came in with a big group and the workers were super nice and fast.
First of all, the couple who own and manage the bakery are charming, so it’s more like meeting friends for coffee than going to a commercial establishment. Jun was formerly the baker for the Ritz Carlton so as you’d expect the pastries are delicious. I’m sorry that I won’t be able to tell you my favorites because they sell out every day now and the more people who know the earlier I’ll need to get there..
to say how good Jun and Wally’s bakery is would be an understatement. truly one of the best LA and community bakery’s I’ve ever been to.
This was my first time at Union Bakery upon recommendation and I am very impressed. On my drive home with my pastries it took so much self control to not pull over and eat them all myself. Ultimately, my family was happy when I walked in the door with fresh croissants and even happier after they tasted them. This is a great Bakery and I recommend it to anyone looking for tasty baked goods.
One of my favorite bakeries in South Pasadena. The pastries are very fresh and tasty. The owner is very nice as well. A must go if you are in the area. Some advice would be to stop in as early as you can because they sell out of popular items quickly.
Always freshly baked, homey and friendly, no frills but full of community energy. You can tell their customers are regulars. Nothing fancy, just expect a local small bakery showing off years of dedication to their freshly baked, delicious baked goods at an affordable price.
Really like this place! I get their turkey sandwich often and the bread is sooooo good! I also really like their chocolate chip cookies! I have also bought their sourdough loaf and its the best! You can buy the loaf as is or they will slice it for you. Definitely recommend!
Cute place with friendly staff and delicious baked goods! I LOVE that they use paper packaging, not plastic for the planet, and they offer a bag and utensils and a receipt so I can say no to them all :P
Love this local gem for the pastries but their delicious sourdough loaf provided the frame for our Sunday morning BLT. They even offered to slice it for me. Good bread, good people.
Dropped in to Union Bakery last week and purchased a loaf of Whole Wheat Sourdough Bread. The bread is delicious and filling. A great baker must work here!
